The essence of this portion of our web guide is on topics related to belief, faith, religion, and spirituality in Waterford, Michigan.

Waterford Charter Township is in central Oakland County and part of the Detroit Metro Region. Although it is well-developed, there are no incorporated cities or villages within the township. There are five unincorporated communities (Clintonville, Drayton Plains, Elizabeth Lake, Four Towns, and Waterford Village) within the township, but, since they are all served by the Waterford post office and unincorporated communities in Michigan don't have defined boundaries, it can be difficult to determine whether a church is in Drayton Plains or another Waterford community. For this reason, websites representing churches or other places of worship in either of these communities or elsewhere in Waterford Township would be appropriate resources for this category.

A recent survey suggests that residents of Waterford Charter Township are slightly more religious than those in the average US locality, and considerably more so than those in the average Michigan locality.

More than half of the religious people in Waterford are Catholics. They are followed distantly by the Methodists, Lutherans, Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, and other Protestant and Anabaptist denominations and non-denominational churches, including three percent who are affiliated with Judaism and smaller numbers associated with Islam or various Eastern religions.

However, regardless of the particular religion, denomination, or sect, websites representing ministries or places of worship in Waterford Township are appropriate for this category.
