In large part, if not entirely, this will consist of websites representing places of worship or ministries within the city. Although Islam has a significant presence in the city, Christianity is, by far, the greater influence in Westland.
According to a recent survey, approximately forty-two percent of Westland residents, when asked cited an affiliation with a religion. Of these, fewer than four percent cited religions other than Christianity, and most of these were represented by Islam.
Nearly seventeen percent of those who responded were Catholics. They were followed distantly by the Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, and Mormons, although more than six percent named Protestant or Anabaptist congregations that were not part of the survey, or various non-denominational churches.
Devotees to Islam outnumbered all but the Catholics and the Baptists, however.
Online resources for ministries, churches, or other places of worship in Westland are appropriate for this category, regardless of the particular religion, denomination, or sect.
