Public school students in grades PK-12 are served by the Roseville Area Schools District, also known as Independent School District 623.

The district includes seven elementary schools: Brimhall Elementary School, Central Park Elementary School, Emmett D. Williams Elementary School, Edgerton Elementary School, Falcon Heights Elementary School, Little Canada Elementary School, and Parkview Center School, which is a K-8th grade school.

Roseville Area Middle School enrolls public school students in grades seven and eight, while Roseville Area High School takes in those in grades nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. Affiliated with the Alliance of Renewal Churches, the North Heights Christian Academy is a PK-8th-grade school in Roseville.

Saint Rose of Lima, also in Roseville, is a Roman Catholic school serving students in PK-8th grade.

Additionally, there are childcare and stand-alone private preschools in Roseville.
