The Twin Cities Pioneer Press is a general-interest newspaper based in Saint Paul. Its circulation is highest in the Twin Cities metro area, which includes Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties, as well as western Wisconsin, eastern Minnesota, and Anoka County, Minnesota. The Pioneer Press was formed with the merger of the Minnesota Pioneer and the Saint Paul Dispatch in 1974.
