Clarksdale is located along the Little Third Fork of the Platte River in DeKalb County, in northwestern Missouri. The small city is accessed by Missouri Route 6, which is also Route 31, as well as Route O. Clarksdale is south of Oak and Orchid, north of Bayfield and Stewartsville, southwest of Amity and Maysville, and southeast of Cosby, Helena and Rochester.
