The village of Collins, in St. Clair County, Missouri, was named for Collins Township, which was itself named for Judge William Collins. The community is located at the intersection of US Highway 54, running east and west, and Missouri Highway 13, running north and south. Collins is east of Blackjack, northeast of Caplinger Mills, west of Elkton, and southwest of Quincy.
