Fremont Hills is in Christian County, Missouri. Located within the Ozark School District, the city was incorporated in 1986. The small city is situated about one mile west of the intersection of Missouri Highway 65 and CC, and is considered to be within the Springfield metropolitan area. Located within the city is the Fremont Hills Country Club, which actually preceded the organization of the city itself. As homes were built within the country club, residents decided that the subdivision should be incorporated as a city. Fremont Hills is west of US Highway 65, and northwest of Ozark, Linden, and McCracken. Some portions of Fremont Hills receive mail through the Ozark or Nixa post offices.
