House Springs, Missouri is an unincorporated town in Jefferson County, just off of Route 30, at the intersection with Routes MM and W, near Byrnes Mill. The town was named for Adam House, an early settler who came around 1795, and was killed by Native Americans near a spring. House Springs is east of US Highway 21, northwest of Otto, southwest of Rock Creek, south of Weber Hill, and northeast of Byrnesville. Big River flows east of the town. St. Louis is thirty miles northeast of House Springs.
