Platted in 1857, the village of Preston, Missouri is in Hickory County. The community is located at the intersection of US Highway 54, Missouri Route D, and Missouri Route 381. Hermitage and Wheatland are west of Preston, Cross Timbers is north, Jordan is northeast, Macks Creek is to the east, Ubana to the south, and Nemo and Pittsburg are southwest.
