Roby is an unincorporated town in northwestern Texas County, Missouri. Home to the Mark Twain National Forest campgrounds, Roby is about sixteen miles northwest of Houston and ten miles south of Fort Leonard Wood, at the junction of Missouri Routes 17 and 32. The community's post office was established in 1883. Nearby communities include Plato, Turley, and Ellis Prairie.
