St. Robert, Missouri is adjacent to Fort Leonard Wood, to the south, and portions of the Mark Twain National Forest lies to its east and southwest. Waynesville is adjacent to St. Robert to the west, and Hooker is east of the city. St. Robert is in Pulaski County, in lower central Missouri. Interstate Highway 44 passes through the city. Prior to that, the city was served by US Route 66, which still exists as a scenic route. St. Robert is named for the local Catholic parish, whose patron saint is Robert Bellarmine, an early Jesuit.
