Situated in Taney County, the village of Table Rock, Missouri is about five miles southwest of downtown Branson. The community is located on the eastern banks of Table Rock Lake, and north of Lake Taneycomo. Aside from Branson, nearby communities include Indian Point, Indian Point Village, and Hollister. Table Rock Lake is an artificial body of water that resulted from the construction of Table Rock Dam by the U.S. Corps of Engineers in 1954 through 1958, damming up the White River.
