Tecumseh is an unincorporated community on the North Fork River, at the north end of Norfolk Lake, in eastern Ozark County, in southern Missouri. Named for The Shawnee Indian chief, the Tecumseh post office was established in 1898. Tecumseh is south-southwest of Dawt, east of Hardenville, and north-northwest of Udall. Garnaliel, Arkansas is fourteen miles to the south.

Established in 1866, the mill near Tecumseh, Missouri was redesigned in 1892, along with a 425-foot angling dam and mill race. The following year, after the owner drowned, the mill burned, and was rebuilt in 1901. In 1967, a waterwheel was added for appearances only, and an inn and general store was started there in 1995.
