Named for its location at the site of a spring that was surrounded by willows, the Ozark Mountain city of Willow Springs, in southern Missouri is in Howell County. The city is located along US Highway 60/63, with Business Highway 60/63 passing through the center of town. A portion of the Mark Twain National Forest is just west of the city, and neighboring communities include Burnham, Hutton Valley, and Sterling. Springfield is about eighty-five miles to the west.
