Originally named Belmont, the city of Windsor, Missouri was renamed in 1859 for Windsor Castle in England. The city spans Henry County and Pettis County. Missouri Highways 2 and 52 intersect at Windsor. Nearby communities include Bowen, Brandon, Bryson, Calhoun, Santiago, and Sutherland. Kansas City is about ninety miles to the northwest.
