The borough of Magnolia is in Camden County, New Jersey. Magnolia is bordered by Barrington, Gloucester Township, Lawnside, Runnemede, and Somerdale. Historically, the borough had passed hands several times before being acquired by Josiah Albertson, who settled there, establishing grist and saw mills, as well as farming, lumbering, and applying his trade as a shoemaker. The town was settled in 1685, and incorporated as a borough in 1915.
