The city of North Wildwood was initially incorporated as the borough of Anglesea in 1885, and changing its name to North Wildwood in 1906, it was reincorporated as a city in 1917. North Wildwood is bordered by Stone Harbor Borough, Wildwood City, West Wildwood Borough, Middle Township, and the Atlantic Ocean.
