The borough of Pine Beach is located along the southern banks of the Toms River, in Ocean County, New Jersey, bordering Ocean Gate and Toms River. The community began as a summer colony of waterfront cottages in the early 1900s, and, by 1910, a 75-room hotel was built there, and Pine Beach was incorporated as a borough in 1925.
