Seaside Park, New Jersey is a borough in Ocean County, located on the Barnegat Peninsula, which separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. Known a Seheyichbi by the Lenape, the area that is now Seaside Park became part of Dover Township, and then Berkeley Township, until it was incorporated as the borough of Sea Side Park in 1896, losing a space to become Seaside Park in 1914. Seaside Park is bordered on the north by Seaside Heights.
