Created by Royal Charter in 1695, Waterford Township was incorporated as one of New Jersey’s original townships in 1798. Over the years, parts of the township were taken to form what is now Cherry Hill Township, Chesilhurst Township, Voorhees Township, and Berlin Township. Waterford is in Camden County, in southeastern New Jersey.
