Founded in 1871 as a country resort, and incorporated as a borough in 1883, Wenonah is in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The borough is largely residential, and situated along the Mantua Creek and the West Jersey Railroad. Wenonah is bordered by Deptford Township and Mantua Township. The Pulitzer Prize winning author, Michael Capuzzo, resides in Wenonah.
