The village of Angel Fire is a popular ski resort destination in Colfax County, in northeastern New Mexico. The area was primarily ranch land until the middle of the 20th century, when it was developed into a resort community. Established in 1967, and incorporated in 1986, Angel Fire hosts an annual music festival known as Music from Angel Fire each summer.
