Eagle Nest, New Mexico is a village located along the Enchanted Circle Highway in Colfax County, situated on the north shores of Eagle Nest Lake. Originally named Therma, the village was renamed Eagle Nest in the 1930s. Eagle Nest is south of Elizabethtown and east of Idlewild. Philmont Scout Ranch, operated by the Boy Scouts of America, is nearby.
