The city of Boiling Spring Lakes, North Carolina is in Brunswick County, not to be confused with the town of Boiling Springs in Cleveland County. Boiling Spring Lakes gets its name from the boiling spring that flows with a pure stream of water and the more than fifty natural and man-made lakes in the city, including its 275-acre “Big Lake”, which is fed by five streams and Allen’s Creek.
