Edinburg is a small city in Walsh County, North Dakota. The community was settled in the early 1880s, and its first post office was established in 1882. Edinburg was incorporated as a village in 1896. The community was established along the railroad, between Union and Kerry.

Valley-Edinburg School District
Formed in 2010, the public school system joins the North Dakota communities of Hoople, Crystal and Edinburg, operating elementary schools in Hoople and Crystal, and a high school in Edinburg. Administrative, faculty and staff members are introduced, and each of its school campuses are highlighted, with schedules and announcements.
