Hannaford, North Dakota is in Griggs County. Founded in 1883, Hannaford was incorporated in 1906, and is best known for erecting the first ski jump in the state in 1920. The city is in the heart of east-central North Dakota, along the Bald Hill Creek. Hannaford is located along Highway 1, north of Walum and southwest of Shepard.
