Harvey, North Dakota is in Wells County. The community was founded in 1893, as a division point by the Soo Line Railway, and named for Colonel Scott William Harvey, a railroad director. Harvey was incorporated as a city in 1906. The city is located near the head waters of the Sheyenne River in central North Dakota, on US Highway 52 and ND-3, between Martin and Manfred.
