Founded in 1884, Minnewaukan is the county seat and fourth largest city in Benson County, North Dakota. Minnewaukan is located on the west banks of Devils Lake, between Tilden and Lallie. The Devils Lake Sioux Indian Reservation is southeast of Minnewaukan.
