Huntsville, Ohio is a village in north-central Logan County. The community was platted, on land previously owned by George Hover and Thomas Wishart, shortly after the survey of the Mad River and Lake Erie Railroad was completed in the mid 1800s. The post office was moved from nearby Cherokee to Huntsville in 1850, and the village was incorporated in 1865.
