Lewisburg, Ohio is a village in Preble County. Founded in 1818, the current village incorporates the original village as well as the former village of Euphemia, which was merged with Lewisburg in 1916. The community was founded soon after Harrison Township was organized in 1816, and named for Lewisburg, Virginia, which is now in West Virginia.
