The village of North Bend is located in Hamilton County, in southwestern Ohio, just six miles east of the Indiana state line. The community is situated on the most northerly bend of the Ohio River, for which it gets its name. North Bend was settled by John Cleves Symmes in 1789, and was the home of William Henry Harrison, the 9th president of the United States, and the birthplace of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president.
