Named for Judge George Chandler, the city of Chandler is the seat of Lincoln County, Oklahoma. Chandler is located along historic U.S. Route 66, which brought commerce to the city, much of which left with Interstate 44 was constructed. Today, its economy is focused on agriculture and livestock, with many of its residents working in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.
