Located on the southeast end of Tillamook Bay on the Pacific Ocean, The City of Tillamook is the seat of Tillamook County, Oregon. In its early years, the community was known as Lincoln, then Hoquarten, eventually changed to Tillamook. Settled in the early 1850s, Tillamook was incorporated as a city in 1853.
