Settled in the 17th century, Lincoln is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island. Lincoln was part of the town of Smithfield until 1871, when it was split off and incorporated as an independent town, named for former President Abraham Lincoln. The villages of Albion, Fairlawn, Lime Rock, Lonsdale, Manville, Quinnville, and Saylesville are located in Lincoln.
