Narragansett, Rhode Island is situated along a narrow strip of land on the eastern bank of the Pettaquamscutt River to the shores of Narragansett Bay, in Washington County. Established in 1888, Narragansett was incorporated in 1901. The villages of Bonnet Shores, Galilee, Great Island, Mettatuxet, Narragansett Pier, Point Judith, Salt Pond and South Ferry, while portions of Saunderstown and Jerusalem are within the town limits of Narragansett.
