Faith is a small city in Meade County, South Dakota. The town was named for Faith Rockefeller, one of the daughters of a major investor in the railroad responsible for the founding of the town. Faith was the terminal point of the railroad, a local spur off of the Milwaukee Road Railroad. It was incorporated as a city in 1912.
