Alcoa, a city in Blount County in Tennessee, is situated just south of Knoxville. Formerly known as North Maryville, the city was renamed to Alcoa, for being the site of an aluminum smelting plant operated and owned by the Alcoa corporation.

Construction on the Alcoa, Tennessee structure took place from 1938 to December of 1946, built by William Andrew Nicholson and his wife Fair, who has moved to Alcoa from Pickens County, Georgia, where he was a mason and a carpenter. The structure was built to survive Armageddon and beyond, using Roman architecture.
