Benbrook, Texas, is a small city located in Tarrant County. It was originally settled by Europeans as part of the Peters' Colony, which was established by the Republic of Texas, in the 1850s, which offered 320 acres free to married men and 160 acres free to single immigrants, along with a free cabin, musket balls, and seeds.
