Also known as "Tree City USA," the city of Euless is situated in Tarrant County. It was named in honor of Elisha Adam Euless, a Tennessee native who bought 170 acres of what is now downtown Euless and started a cotton gin and community center on that property.

The Garden of Angels in Euless, Texas was begun at the place where the police had discovered the body of Amy Robinson, who had been murdered, age nineteen, who had been murdered. The family of Vern Price later put a cross for him next to Amy's, and others followed, the result being a garden of crosses, each erected in memory of a person who had been murdered.
