Seabrook, Texas, was incorporated in 1961 and is situated in Harris County. It is located on land originally purchased by Seabrook Sydnor in 1895, it has been devastated by several hurricanes, including the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 and Hurricane Ike in 2008.
