Green River State Park is located along the bank of the Green River, and serves as a popular embarkation point for river trips through Labyrinth and Stillwater canyons, and as a base for seeing much of southeastern Utah. Camping is permitted at the park, and reservations may be made online.

John Wesley Powell River History Museum
Located on the banks of the Green River, the J.W. Powell Museum portrays the history of the trials involved in the expeditions of Powell as he explored and recorded the geology and geography of the area, as well as covering pre-history, and more current exhibits relating river runners.
