Holiness Friends are those influenced by the Holiness movement, and John Wesley's doctrine of sanctification, which holds that it is possible for believers to rid themselves of voluntary sin.
Once a dominant view among the Quakers of the United Kingdom and the United States, is is now found primarily in the Central Yearly Meeting of Friends and the Holiness Mission of the Bolivian Evangelical Friends Church.
Members of the Holiness Friends will point to writings of the early Quakers, including George Fox's message of perfection, as evidence that this was the traditional Quaker view.
The Central Yearly Meeting of Friends is part of the Conservative Holiness Movement, and represents the more orthodox branch of Quakerism. The Central Yearly Meeting of Friends was formed by several eastern Indiana meeting who were concerned about the trend toward liberal theologies in other yearly meetings of the Religious Society of Friends, the CYMF was founded in 1926.
Headquartered in Muncie, Indiana, the CYMF is affiliated with Union Bible College. It has conducted extensive missions in Bolivia, it was missionaries from the Central Meeting who founded the Quaker meetings in that country.
Quaker theology first came to Bolivia through a Navajo Quaker, William Abel in 1919. Around the same time, the Holiness Friends Mission from Indiana brought the Quaker religion to the Aymara people in the northern Andes mountains, founding a Quaker community that is active among the Quechua, Mosetain, Chimani, and other indigenous groups.
The Holiness Mission of the Bolivian Evangelical Friends Church grew out of a long period of missionary work by the Northwest and Central Yearly Meetings in Indiana, and grew into the largest Quaker body in Bolivia.

A project of the Holiness Mission of the Bolivian Evangelical Friends Church, the BQEF grew out of the missionary work of the Northwest and Central Indiana Yearly Meetings, which were primarily responsible for bringing Quakerism to Bolivia. Founded by a group of Quakers in 1860, the Westfield, Indiana school was originally a private Christian secondary school. Enrollment diminished with the establishment of public schools, it transitioned into Union Bible Seminary in 1911, still under the operation of the Friends. In 1980, it became Union Bible College, an interdenominational Holiness college. Its history, accreditation status, course catalog, admissions policies, and tuition and fees are included.
