The Christian video game genre refers to games that incorporate Christianity or themes from Bible teachings and is consistent with Christian values.

Sometimes known as Bible games, any video game with a biblically consistent Christian theme can be considered a Christian video game. Like the education game genre, Christian games can include the gameplay from many other genres, including shooter games, adventure games, and even rhythm games using Christian music. Some Christian games might be considered as serious games, but most of them largely serve as entertainment for people who identify as Christians, or who have an interest in Christianity.

The Christian genre has been around since the early years of video gaming. One of the first Christian games was published by BibleBytes for the TRS-80 Color Computer in 1982, and a series known as the Bible Computer Games was released on Timex Sinclair and Texas Instruments TI-99/4A computer platforms in 1983, and later released for the Apple IIe, Commodore 64, Commodore VIC-20, and the Kaypro CP/M platforms. An MS-DOS version was released by PC Enterprises in 1986.

Today, there are several video game developers and publishers who focus on creating games for the Christian market.

The focus of this category is on the Christian genre of video games.
