Born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey on April 30, 1982, actress Kirsten Dunst’s parents separated when she was 8 years old. She moved, along with her mother and brother, to Los Angeles where she went to school in North Hollywood. She went to high school in Notre Dame Catholic High School. Her breakthrough role was as Claudia, the vampire child in "Interview with the Vampire." She was treated for depression in 2008 in Utah at a drug addiction and alcoholism rehab facility. She holds dual citizenship with Germany and the United States.
