Transportation to, from, and within the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan is the focus of topics in this category.

The Ann Arbor Municipal Airport is actually located in Pittsfield Township, but it is owned and operated by the City of Ann Arbor. It is a general aviation facility with mostly corporate or private aircraft, and no scheduled passenger or cargo flights.

From 1878 to 1982, Ann Arbor was a major hub for the railroads, particularly between Toledo, Ohio, and points north of Chicago, Illinois. The first railroad to complete its tracks through Ann Arbor was the Michigan Central Railroad, which came in 1837, providing both passenger and cargo service. The old Michigan Central Depot was converted into a restaurant in 1970. The Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Street Railway, the state's first interurban line, was in operation from 1891 to 1929. The Ann Arbor Railroad provided passenger service to the city from 1878 to 1950. Currently, Ann Arbor Train Station is operated by Amtrak, whose Wolverine line between Chicago and Pontiac, via Detroit, stops in Ann Arbor.

The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, whose buses are branded as TheRide, is the public transit system that serves Ann Arbor and the Ypsilanti area. The AATA mostly operates fixed-route bus service within its service area, but it also operates the ARide para-transit system, ExpressRide commuter buses to Canton and Chelsea, and ArtFairRide and FootballRide event shuttles, and oversees the iShareARide and VanRide car-pooling programs.

Greyhound Lines provides intercity bus services from or to Ann Arbor and other locations, and the Michigan Flyer, a service operated by Indian Trails, cooperates with AATA for their AirRide service, and also offers bus transportation from Ann Arbor to East Lansing. Megabus offers direct service to Chicago, and Amtrak contracts bus services for rail passengers making connections to services in East Lansing and Toledo.

Ann Arbor's streets are laid out in a grid pattern, in which major roads branch out from its downtown district like spokes on a wheel, connecting to the highways that surround the city, including I-94, US 23, and M-17.
