Blissfield has five parks. Bachmayer Playground is a four-acre park with a Little League ballfield, picnic tables, and playground equipment. Farver Little League Park is a six-acre park dedicated to Little League baseball. The Blissfield Community Schools athletic department's teams play as the Royals, and is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association and the Lenawee County Athletic Association, offering a variety of competitive sports. Managed by volunteers, the Blissfield Area Little League offers area youth with opportunities for competitive baseball.

Facilitated by the Southeast Michigan Bluegrass Music Association, and sponsored by local businesses, Blissfield Bluegrass on the River is an annual bluegrass festival on the River Raisin. The Blissfield River Raisin Festival is held the second weekend of July on the banks of the River Raisin, encompassing Ellis Park on the east side and Bachmayer Park on the west.

Running every Saturday evening in Blissfield and one Saturday evening per month in Charlotte, the Murder Mystery Dinner Train includes a five-course meal and a murder mystery adventure in a three-hour train ride, as well as specialty trains.
