Online resources for guest accommodations in Carp Lake, Michigan can be found in this guide.

The community of Carp Lake is built around Lake Paradise, a large but shallow lake that supports a vibrant fishery, including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, northern pike, and walleye. Once known as Carp Lake, the lake is about three miles long, widens from east to west, with two distinct lobes divided by Stony Point. Another point, Ashbaugh Point, is situated on the western end of the northern shore of the lake, which is where most of the village's cabins and vacation rentals are located. Others are found near Carlton Cove, in the northwestern part of the lake, nearer to US-31.

Paradise Lake is fed by Mud Creek, and it is drained by the Carp River, an eight-mile waterway that empties into Lake Michigan at Cecil Bay, just east of Wilderness State Park.

Most of the lake is less than ten feet deep, but there is a narrow channel extending from east to west along the northern portion of the lake, and a shallow plateau about five feet in depth near the lake's center. The Little Traverse Conservancy maintains several preserves along the southern shores of the lake.

Paradise Lake is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, including fishermen, boaters, and swimmers.

Carp Lake is only about five miles from Lake Superior, there are several other lakes nearby, and Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge is less than ten miles north of the community. US-31 connects with I-75 just north of Carp Lake, so the area enjoys a lot of visits from travelers.

Whether for a night, a weekend, or a summer, there are several places in and around Carp Lake for travelers, tourists, and vacationers to stay, and these are the focus of resources in this guide. Carp Lake hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, rental cabins, resorts, RV parks, campgrounds, and other guest accommodations are appropriate for this category.
