North Waseca Lutheran Church was organized in 1858 by Norwegian immigrants who settled on land in Blooming Grove and Iosco townships, although a church building was not completed until 1874.

Established in 2009, Real Life Covenant Church is associated with the Evangelical Covenant Church. Also founded in 2009, Christ the King Lutheran Church is an independent Lutheran congregation. The Great Commission Bible Church began in 2009, as well.
