Musical entertainer Jennifer Lopez was born July 24, 1969 in The Bronx, New York to Puerto Rican parents. She began taking singing and dancing lessons when she was five and was in Catholic schools her entire scholastic life. She proved to be very athletic, particularly in track, the sport in which she competed nationally. Her three marriages ended in divorce, but her two major relationships which did not result in marriage have been more public. She was arrested with Sean Combs in 1999 and engaged to Ben Affleck in 2002. The latter relationship was referred to by the press as "Bennifer." She had twins from her third marriage.
